Job Description:

Inventory Controller

Location: Curaçao

Organization

In retail, inventory is everything.

Our client is looking for an Inventory Controller who understands that stock accuracy is not just administration. It affects purchasing, replenishment, losses, margins, and the daily operation of the business.

But who are you really?

You are analytical, accurate, and observant. You may not always be the loudest person in the room, but you see what others miss.

You enjoy working with numbers, systems, stock movement, and operational details. You like investigating differences, finding the root cause, and making sure that what is in the system matches what is actually on the floor.

In this role, you will work closely with warehouse, store operations, purchasing, and finance. You will support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.

What's expected from you:

This role is about bringing control behind the scenes. Strong inventory management starts with accuracy, discipline, and the ability to notice what others may overlook.

The Inventory Controller works independently and with focus, but also connects easily with different departments when information needs to be checked, corrected, or improved. This requires a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to investigate discrepancies until the root cause is clear.

Your professional foundation:

  • Bachelor working and thinking level in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in inventory control, stock management, auditing, retail operations, or a related field;
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills;
  • Comfortable working with inventory data, ERP systems, POS systems, Excel, and reports;
  • Experience in a supermarket, retail, warehouse, or quality assurance environment is a plus;
